- PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
- METAMETA 720WP is a fungicide for control of Downey mildew on roses & snow peas and early & late blight on potatoes & tomatoes.
- MODE OF ACTION (Metalaxyl + Mancozeb)
- Metalaxyl belongs to the phenylamide group of fungicides (FRAC Group 4) and is a systemic fungicide with protective and curative properties. It is absorbed by the plant and moves within plant tissues, inhibiting fungal growth and reproduction while protecting new growth after application.
- Mancozeb belongs to the dithiocarbamate group of fungicides (FRAC Group M03) and acts as a multi-site contact fungicide. It prevents fungal spore germination and infection by disrupting multiple metabolic processes within fungal cells. Together, the two active ingredients provide broad-spectrum disease control and effective resistance management.
