- Application Rate: 50–70 ml/20 L water OR 500–700 ml/ha/1000 L water
- Available Packs: 1L
- PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
- CLOMITE 500SC is a long residual contact acaricide which is active against eggs and young stages (but not adults) of panonychus ulmi and tetranychus spp spider mites on roses.
- MODE OF ACTION
- Clofentezine belongs to the tetrazine group of acaricides (IRAC Group 10A). It acts primarily through contact activity and is highly effective against mite eggs and immature stages but has little or no effect on adult mites. It interferes with mite growth and development by disrupting embryonic and juvenile development, preventing eggs from hatching and immature mites from reaching adulthood. Its long residual activity provides prolonged protection against emerging mite populations.
- KEY PROPERTIES

- KEY BENEFITS
- Prevents build-up of damaging mite populations
- Provides long-lasting control with fewer applications
- Controls mites before economic damage occurs
- Reduces feeding damage to foliage and flowers
- Protects crop quality and marketability
- Effective tool for resistance management when rotated with other acaricides
- Supports healthier and more vigorous plant growth

- METHOD OF APPLICATION
- Shake the product container thoroughly before use.
- Fill the spray tank halfway with clean water.
- Add the required amount of CLOMITE 500 SC.
- Agitate thoroughly until a uniform mixture is obtained.
- Add the remaining volume of water while continuing agitation.
- Maintain continuous agitation throughout the spraying operation.

- Apply as a thorough foliar spray ensuring complete crop coverage.
- APPLICATION RATE
| CROP | DISEASES | APPLICATION RATE |
| Roses | Spider Mites | 50–70 ml/20 L water OR 500–700 ml/ha/1000 L water |
- RE-ENTRY INTERVAL (REI): Areas treated with CLOMITE 500 SC are safe to re-enter after 12 hours, provided spray deposits have completely dried.
- APPLICATION GUIDELINES
- Begin applications early in the season before mite populations become established.
- Target eggs and immature mite stages for optimum control.
- Ensure thorough crop coverage for maximum effectiveness.
- Use a spray volume of 1000–1500 L/ha depending on crop canopy density.
- Maintain continuous agitation throughout spraying.
- If a second application is required, rotate with a miticide having a different mode of action.
- Do not apply upwind and avoid exposure to spray mist.
- Incorporate into an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program for sustainable mite control.
