• SPIDOR MAX 300SC is a miticide/insecticide for control of all stages of red spider mites on roses; spidermites, leaf miners and thrips on tomatoes and capsicum.

• MODE OF ACTION
• SPIDORMAX 300SC is a combination acaricide containing Spirodiclofen, a tetronic acid derivative acaricide in Insecticide Resistance Action Committee IRAC Group 23, and Abamectin, an avermectin insecticide and acaricide in IRAC Group 6. Spirodiclofen acts by inhibiting acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC), a key enzyme involved in lipid biosynthesis in mites. This disruption of lipid production interferes with energy storage, cell membrane formation, growth, and development, resulting in reduced reproduction and mortality of immature mite stages. Abamectin acts through contact and stomach activity by activating glutamate-gated chloride channels in nerve and muscle cells, increasing the influx of chloride ions and disrupting nerve signal transmission. This causes paralysis, cessation of feeding, and eventual death of susceptible mites and insects. Together, the two active ingredients provide effective control through disruption of lipid biosynthesis and impairment of nervous system function.
