- VENDEX 50EC Is an insecticide for the control of Aphids, Whiteflies, Thrips and Caterpillars on Tomatoes, French beans and Snowpeas.
- MODE OF ACTION
- Lambda-cyhalothrin is a pyrethroid insecticide in Insecticide Resistance Action Committee IRAC Group 3A. Lambda-cyhalothrin acts primarily through contact and stomach activity by affecting the voltage-gated sodium channels in the nerve cells of insects. It prolongs the opening of sodium channels, causing repetitive nerve impulses and prolonged depolarization of nerve membranes. This disruption of normal nerve function leads to hyperexcitation, loss of coordination, paralysis, and eventual death of the insect. Lambda-cyhalothrin provides rapid knockdown and residual control of susceptible insect pests.
