- PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
- GOLDEN LEAF is a wetter, sticker and translaminar product based on organosilicone technology containing Polyalkylene oxide modified heptamethyl trisiloxane 980g/L. It is designed to improve spray coverage, enhance penetration and absorption of agrochemicals, and increase the effectiveness of crop protection products. GOLDEN LEAF also provides effective management of spider mites and mealybugs in French beans and tomatoes.
- MODE OF ACTION
- Polyalkylene oxide modified heptamethyl trisiloxane is an organosilicone surfactant that acts primarily through physical mechanisms. It reduces spray solution surface tension, resulting in superior wetting, spreading, adhesion, and penetration on plant and pest surfaces. When applied against spider mites, it forms a uniform film that may obstruct respiratory openings and promote desiccation, leading to mortality. The product does not possess a specific biochemical target site and therefore is not assigned to a conventional insecticide or acaricide resistance management group.

- METHOD OF APPLICATION
- Fill the tank halfway with water. Add 2ml of GOLDEN LEAF for 20L of water. For spidermites and Mealybugs, use 10ml per 20L of water. Fill to the required amount of water and agitate to ensure thorough mixing.

- PHI: Not applicable when used as a wetter, sticker and adjuvant. Follow the PHI of the accompanying crop protection product where applicable.
- REI (Re-Entry Interval): Do not enter treated areas until spray deposits have completely dried unless wearing appropriate protective clothing. It is safe to re-enter treated areas after 6 hours.
- Application Guidelines
- Apply when environmental conditions favour good spray coverage.
- Do not apply when plants are under stress caused by drought, waterlogging, extreme temperatures or nutrient deficiencies.
- Ensure uniform coverage of plant surfaces for maximum effectiveness.
- Use clean water and maintain proper agitation during mixing and spraying.
- Always follow the label instructions of tank-mix partners when used with pesticides or fertilizers.
