Protap 500WP is a Powerful Systemic Control for Sucking Pests

PROTAP 500WP is an insecticide for the control of mealy bugs, thrips, aphids and whiteflies on Roses. It is formulated by Monosultap 400g/kg +Buprofezin 100g/kg.

PROTAP 500WP works as a nerve poison that is metabolicallly converted into nereistoxin, a natural toxic compound that acts as a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor, while also inhibiting the synthesis of chitin, a key component of the insect exoskeleton, thus disrupting the molting process of immature insects (nymphs and larvae).

MODE OF ACTION

Monosultap is a broad-spectrum, systemic, and contact-based insecticide primarily used to control lepidopteran pests (such as rice stem borers and leaf rollers)

Buprofezin is a highly selective Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) used primarily to control sap-sucking insects, such as whiteflies, planthoppers, leafhoppers, and scale insects and is classified under the IRAC Mode of Action Group: Group 16 (Chitin biosynthesis inhibitors, type 1).

• Dual Action Mechanism: Combines Monosultap (nerve poison causing paralysis) and Buprofezin (insect growth regulator, inhibits chitin biosynthesis) for rapid knockdown and long-lasting control.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Fill the spray tank with water halfway. Add the recommended amount of PROTAP 500WP and complete to fill the remaining amount of water while stirring constantly.
