  • PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
  • BENOCARB 100SC is a broad-spectrum insecticide formulated as a suspension concentrate (SC) containing a combination of Indoxacarb and Emamectin benzoate. It is designed for effective control of key lepidopteran pests including Tuta absoluta, Diamond Back Moth (DBM), False Codling Moth (FCM), caterpillars, and Fall Army Worm across major horticultural and field crops.BENOCARB 100SC exhibits strong ingestion activity with translaminar movement, forming a reservoir within plant tissues. After feeding, larvae rapidly stop feeding and die within a few days, resulting in effective crop protection and reduced pest pressure.
  • MODE OF ACTION: Indoxacarb acts as a voltage-dependent sodium channel blocker, disrupting nerve impulse transmission in insects. Emamectin benzoate acts on the insect nervous system by interfering with neurotransmission. Following ingestion, insects become paralyzed, stop feeding within hours, and die within 2–4 days.
  • Key Properties
  1. Ingestion activity
  2. Translaminar movement
  3. Rapid feeding cessation
  4. Residual control through cellular reservoir formation
  • METHOD OF APPLICATION: Fill the spray tank halfway with clean water and shake the container thoroughly to ensure a uniform suspension. Add the required amount of BENOCARB 100SC as per the recommended rate and complete filling the tank with water while stirring continuously. Apply as a full-cover foliar spray.
  • APPLICATION GUIDELINES
  1. Apply at the first sign of pest infestation
  2. Apply as a full-cover foliar spray ensuring thorough coverage
  3. Repeat applications at 10-day intervals
  4. Maximum of three applications per season
  5. Avoid spraying during periods of active bee foraging
  • Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): 7 days
  • Re-Entry Interval (REI): Safe to re-enter treated areas after spray deposits have dried; generally after 6 hours
  • KEY FEATURES:
  1. Dual Mode of Action: Combines two active ingredients with complementary modes of action for enhanced pest control and resistance management.
  2. Rapid Feeding Cessation: Larvae stop feeding within hours, minimizing crop damage.
  3. Effective Residual Control: Translaminar activity and cellular reservoir formation provide extended protection.
