- PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
- FENARI 120SC is a broad-spectrum insecticide containing Chlorfenapyr 100g/L and Emamectin Benzoate 20g/L for the effective control of thrips in roses and Tuta absoluta and leafminers in tomatoes. The combination of two active ingredients with different modes of action provides rapid pest control, extended residual activity, and effective resistance management for improved crop protection and productivity.
- MODE OF ACTION
- FENARI 120SC combines two insecticides with complementary modes of action. Chlorfenapyr belongs to IRAC Group 13 (Uncouplers of Oxidative Phosphorylation) and acts as a contact and stomach insecticide. It disrupts mitochondrial energy production by inhibiting cellular respiration, causing insects to lose their ability to generate sufficient energy for survival. Emamectin Benzoate belongs to IRAC Group 6 (Chloride Channel Activators) and acts primarily through ingestion with additional contact activity. It exhibits translaminar movement within plant tissues, creating a reservoir inside leaves. Once ingested, it interferes with nerve and muscle function by increasing the flow of chloride ions, leading to paralysis, cessation of feeding, and eventual death of the target pest. The dual-action combination delivers effective control of difficult-to-manage sucking and mining pests while supporting resistance management programs.
- KEY PROPERTIES
- Dual Mode of Action: Combines Chlorfenapyr and Emamectin Benzoate for enhanced efficacy against multiple pest life stages.
- Contact and Stomach Activity: Controls pests through direct contact and feeding activity for improved pest suppression.
- Translaminar Movement: Emamectin Benzoate penetrates leaf tissues and forms a reservoir within the leaf, providing protection against concealed pests.
- Rapid Feeding Cessation: Pests stop feeding shortly after exposure, minimizing crop damage.
- Resistance Management Tool: Contains active ingredients from two different IRAC groups, making it suitable for insecticide rotation programs.
- Long-lasting Protection: Provides residual activity that helps maintain pest control between applications.
- Key Benefits
- Effective control of thrips in roses.
- Reliable management of Tuta absoluta in tomatoes.
- Excellent control of leafminers, including larvae feeding within leaf tissues.
- Reduces crop damage by quickly stopping pest feeding activity.
- Provides prolonged protection through residual and translaminar activity.
- Supports resistance management through dual modes of action.
- Improves crop quality, marketability, and yield potential.
- METHOD OF APPLICATION
- Fill the spray tank with half of the required quantity of clean water.
- Add the recommended amount of FENARI 120SC and mix thoroughly.
- Add the remaining quantity of water while maintaining agitation.
- Continue stirring during spraying to ensure a uniform mixture.
- Apply immediately after preparation.
- Ensure thorough coverage of all plant surfaces, particularly new growth and the undersides of leaves.
| CROPS | PESTS | RATE |
| Roses | Thrips | 500ml/Ha/1000Lts OR 10ml/20Lts of water. |
| Tomatoes | Tuta Absoluta and Leaf miners | 500ml/Ha/1000Lts OR 10ml/20Lts of water. |
- PHI (Pre-Harvest Interval): Tomatoes: 7 days
- REI (Re-Entry Interval): Do not enter treated areas within 12 hours of application unless wearing appropriate protective clothing.
