- Powerful Control of Tuta, Bollworm & Diamond Back Moth
- MODE OF ACTION
- Indoxacarb is an oxadiazine insecticide in Insecticide Resistance Action Committee IRAC Group 22A. Indoxacarb acts primarily through contact and ingestion by blocking voltage-dependent sodium channels in the nerve cells of insects. After bioactivation within the insect, it disrupts the normal flow of sodium ions required for nerve impulse transmission, resulting in cessation of feeding, impaired movement, paralysis, and eventual death. Affected insects typically stop feeding shortly after exposure, reducing crop damage before mortality occurs. Indoxacarb is particularly effective against lepidopteran larvae and provides residual control of susceptible insect pests.
